This is really beautiful Jessica. And thanks so much for your comment. To clarify, I believe in life and I am excited about welcoming a child into the world. The reason I say pro-choice is not that I believe in abortion...quite the opposite. However, God gives us choices every day and it is up to us to choose our own path. I am so thankful for those choices and each time I choose him. However, there are so many circumstances that I can't imagine having to make a decision (the exceptions to a hard and fast pro-life stance) and when it is someone else's decision...I just can't imagine telling them what they are or aren't supposed to do. That is their choice. I hope that makes sense. In all likilihood, we probably have very similar views. I just don't want anyone to get confused in where I stand, ya know.
As for the New Earth - it wasn't discussed in our church lesson so I didn't bring it up here. I'd love to hear your thoughts though. Feel free to email me - I've got a contact page on my blog.
Have a wonderful day and sorry for posting in your comment section (I just don't have your email).
Thanks, Ashley. I'm sorry if I overstepped my boundaries and confused others about where you stand on the topic of abortion. That wasn't my intention at all. I was confused about what you believe before you clarified your position, so thank you for doing so. I am in agreement with you and now I understand why you believe what you do. If I'm ever confused by your stance in the future I'll contact you by email.
Maybe I'll email you about the New Earth, but I don't know much about the topic myself.
Thank you! You too! I don't mind you commenting here. :)
