1. High Key
I had to Google the term "high key" like several other bloggers did. As soon as I read the definition, I knew what it was. I've used high key before, but I don't use it very often. When I went to take some high key shots I looked around my room and saw Smarties sitting on my desk. A friend had given them to me earlier in the day and I decided that they'd make a good subject.
2. Bedroom
This is from my archives from spring break. Living in a dorm and sharing a tiny room with someone else, my room at school is pretty messy so I usually don't like taking photos of it. So instead of my dorm room, that's the view out of my friend's bedroom where I stayed for a week in March.
3. Something Tiny
There are countless tiny things in this world that could be photographed, but when I started thinking about what to shoot, my mind went blank. I walked around outside and followed this bird around for a little while before I got this shot of him sitting along the edge of the lake.
4. Off in the Distance
The long boarder guys are pretty hard to see. They're a ways down the bike trail. My friend Byamba and I went for a walk yesterday morning since he's leaving tomorrow and won't be back until August, and while we were stopped for a photo shoot, these dudes scooted by, waving and greeting us as they went (I know two of them and Byamba knows one of them). Looked like they were having a great time.
