Only He...

can take a dull, stormy afternoon and turn it into a glorious, bright evening!

We must endure through the trials of this life and confidently hold to the faith we affirm because God can be trusted to keep his promise.

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. -Hebrews 10:35-36

My Bucket List

To be honest, I hadn't ever really thought to create a bucket list until I read this post the other day, and decided to compile a list.

Before I die, I want to...

2. Return to my home: Ukarumpa, Eastern Highlands, PNG.

3. Learn German, Hungarian, and maybe another language or two! (I already know Spanish.)

Great Guitarist

4. Learn how to play guitar and percussion.

Bronte Beach at Night
                                                                 {via}

5. Spend a night [or two] sleeping on the beach under the stars.

Congratulations Greg and Lindsay!

Love is a flower which turns into fruit at marriage.  ~Finnish Proverb

My cousin Greg got married to his beautiful bride Lindsay this past Sunday. The ceremony took place in a beautifully decorated Orthodox church, the same church my cousin has been attending since he was a young child. Greg and Lindsay are honeymooning in Hawaii and upon their return they'll reside in North Carolina. This was my first wedding to attend and I thought it was very nice!

Creation Reveals His Glory

From the highest of heights

to the depths of the sea

creation's revealing your majesty!

Indescribable is a beautiful song, but it falls short of proclaiming how awesome God is. Sky, ocean, grass, trees, flowers, animals are all declaring the glory of God at the same time in their own ways. Jesus said that if people stop praising Him, the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40). Psalm 19:1 talks about the heavens proclaiming the glory of God. Jesus is worthy of all of the glory and honour and praise forever and ever!
